Niall began his career in PwC Dublin, where he trained in Financial Services Audit and qualified as a Chartered Accountant, in 2009. His post qualification Finance experience includes a role as a Credit Analyst with a large Financial Institution and a Financial Reporting role within an Investment Management company. Niall went on to spend seven years in Finance Recruitment with FK International before co-founding Darwin Hawkins in 2018.

Mark began his career at Deloitte in Dublin, where he trained in Financial Services Audit and qualified as a Chartered Accountant, in 2011. Post qualification he spent four years in the Portfolio and Relationship management area of Certus, a large Financial Institution in the Banking sector. Mark then moved to FK International. Three years later Mark co-founded Darwin Hawkins in 2018. Mark's recruitment areas cover Project Management, Strategy, Finance Transformation, and Data Analytics.

James Caan is one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs. He made a  global success of his recruitment companies, Alexander Mann and Humana International. In 2004, he founded private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw which now has a portfolio of 30+ businesses. He is well known for joining the hit BBC show – Dragons’ Den, and The Business Class on CNBC. A passionate supporter of small businesses, James chaired the government’s Start-Up Loans scheme and now invests in and mentors Recruitment Entrepreneur businesses.

Aonghus began his career at Deloitte in Dublin, where he trained in Financial Services Audit and qualified as a Chartered Accountant, in 2016. Post qualification he spent three years as an Accounting subject matter expert in Metlife. Aonghus transitioned to the Recruitment industry in 2019 joining Darwin Hawkins. Aonghus recruitment areas cover roles including Financial Accountant, Commercial Accountant, Financial Analyst, FP&A, & Internal Audit within Industry.

Lisa Tully began her career in PKF O'Connor Leddy & Holmes, where she qualified as an ACCA accountant. Post qualification she spent time in Pfizer as a Statutory Financial Accountant. Lisa then worked for seven years in Regulatory, Risk and Compliance Management in Grant Thornton working in Risk Advisory, before moving to Elavon working in Regulatory Services. Lisa moved to the Recruitment industry to join Darwin Hawkins in March 2022 where she specialises in Corporate Finance, Regulatory, Risk and Sustainability

Emma began her career at PwC in Dublin, where she trained in Financial Services Audit and qualified as a Chartered Accountant, in 2022. Post qualification she worked as a Relationship Manager with Zodia Custody, a digital assets custodian and subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank. Emma moved to the Recruitment industry to join Darwin Hawkins in October 2024 where she specialises in Newly Qualified Financial Services roles.

Frank began his career in finance, working in fund accounting with Hedgeserv and later in financial services sales with DLL Group. He moved into recruitment in 2022, starting with The Andersen Partnership in Melbourne, where he rebuilt a dormant commercial finance desk. Frank then joined KeyMoves, where he built a successful practice desk from the ground up, placing talent across public practice firms throughout Australia.  Frank returned to Ireland in 2025 to join Darwin Hawkins, where he now specialises in recruiting for Practice roles.

Conor began his career in banking with AIB where he gained experience across onboarding and treasury functions.He later joined Merrill Lynch where he worked in Funding & Liquidity, gaining exposure to global markets and investment banking.

In 2017, Conor transitioned into recruitment, joining a well-established and highly reputable firm with a strong presence in the Funds industry where he built a strong network across the sector. In 2026, he joined Darwin Hawkins to lead the Funds recruitment practice, leveraging his financial services background and market knowledge to support clients and candidates across the Funds and wider Financial Services sectors.

Ciara completed a degree in National College of Ireland, where she studied Business Management. She has experience in project management and managing operations for various companies. She has 4+ years’ experience in the serviced office industry. Ciara is responsible for managing business processes and operations for the growing team at Darwin Hawkins.

Emanuela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Technological University Dublin.

She brings over four years of professional experience spanning Human Resources, Operations, Accounts Payable, and the Private Pension sector in Ireland. Emanuela is responsible for assisting recruitment processes at Darwin Hawkins.

Shannon is an experienced Operations Manager currently covering maternity leave at Darwin Hawkins. With a strong background in operations, team leadership, and process optimisation, she's previously worked at Progressive Vision and Medica (Ireland), leading teams and improving workflow efficiency.

Known for a collaborative, solutions-focused approach, Shannon brings strengths in communication, project management, and day-to-day operational activities.
